Aragón Rural Development Program

At Quality Corn Grain, we are committed to education, research, and development. In line with this policy, we are thrilled to participate in projects where our expertise, resources, and knowledge combine to move us all forward.

That’s why we’re proud to be part of a new initiative in collaboration with CITA (Center for Agri-Food Research and Technology of Aragón), the University of Zaragoza, and other agri-food entities in the region. This project aims to study the behavior of a weed that has already caused significant economic damage in the United States, Argentina, and Brazil. In our community, it has the potential to reduce soybean or corn yields by up to 80%.

Through the study of Amaranthus palmeri in the trials we have already begun, we aim to develop the knowledge necessary to eradicate or at least control the spread of this invasive species.

Thank you to all our collaborators!
